New Beginnings
Mark a memorable moment in time when you come together as a family and celebrate crossing the threshold of a new beginning.

Personalised script
This is the most important element, once we have spoken and I know your special memories and stories I can begin to create a meaningful script.
It can include humour, sentiment, soulful moments and it will be all about you, your little ones and the special people in your life.

The story of how you arrived at this special milestone, what it means to you all and your hopes for the future.

Depending on the ceremony you are planning for your new beginning I can also include as part of the package a special keepsake certificate.

Poetry
I have lots of poetry you can choose from.
We can also include any poems you may have found or written yourself.

Poetry is a lovely way to help everyone on the day connect with one another, saying how a person feels in a way that can only be expressed through poetry.

Music
As a family you may have a special song you enjoy together which marks the moment around your childs entry into the world.

Or as a family coming together, moving under one roof or your parents deciding to marry - you probably have some music that binds you all as a family and holds meaning. We can include these in the ceremony.

You may also choose a song to sing or to dance to at the end.

A sibling may play an instrument and you may like them to play something for you all.

However, you would like to include music, I will fully support you in whatever is most meaningful to you.

A Unity ceremony
It is through the use of unity ceremonies that a special milestone can be marked.

-
The lighting of candles.
-
The holding of hands, being in a circle.
-
A blessing you may have written.
-

-
A water ceremony.

Blowing bubbles
-
Sending balloons off into the sky.
-
The sharing of words to the child/children, which can be spoken by the parents, guardians, grandparents, Aunts/Uncles or all of those people.
Please visit my Unity Ceremonies page to find out more about using ritual and the types of ritual people often use for ceremonies that mark a new beginning.

Children's book reading
There may be a favourite story your children enjoy or enjoyed and you'd like a sibling to read it out or I can read it to your family.

An older sibling(s) could read an extract from a story that is meaningful to them about the new beginning.

Eat cake and celebrate
As soon as the ceremony is over I will leave you to carry on with your celebrations.
